Privacy Policy

Doc2Dr takes its obligation to protect the confidentiality of your personal information very seriously. By using Doc2Dr’s Family of Smartphone Apps, you consent to this Privacy Policy. Doc2Dr may modify this Privacy Policy at any time effective upon its posting. Your continued use of our Applications constitutes your acceptance of this Privacy Policy and any updates. Your use of Doc2Dr’s App is subject to the End User License Agreement.

YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Some of your contact information is available to other Doc2Dr users (e.g., practice address). Your personal cell phone number is not accessible by default, but you can make it available by approving a Doc2Dr user as one of your “CoWorkers”. Patients will not have access to your email or phone for messaging. By default, your email is not shared with anyone. We will not share any other information with others, including third parties or patients without your permission.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

The security of your information and data while using Doc2Dr’s App is very important to us. The applications employ a variety of technical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your information including supporting Transport Layer Security (TLS)/Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate technology and encryption. We have multiple levels of security including password protection, 256 bit encryption, and use On-Device Data Protection (double encryption), Apple Touch ID Security, Apple Keychain Security.

HOW WE PROTECT PATIENT INFORMATION

The same security as described above is used for patient information. In addition, your secure cloud documents are kept on a Microsoft Azure HIPAA compliant secure server with double encryption. They are only transmitted to you via email. They are securely encrypted and password protected using 256 bit PDF encryption (beyond standard PDF encryption). Dictations are similarly encrypted with 256-bit encryption technology. The Unlock Codes are kept on the Doc2Dr Cloud, and are accessible only to the sender and recipient with password protected restricted access.
